TAIWAN EXCELLENCE 
EXPERIENTIAL SHOWCASE

For the first time in Italy Taiwan Excellence held a special event set up at Piazza Duomo in Brescia, just few meters away from the finish line of Giro d’Italia race. The event was followed with curiosity and interest of public, journalists and athletes present, who participated and test drove the bicycles made in Taiwan.

"Taiwan Excellence" brought in Italy 23 companies operating in the cycling industry, including KeChiuan, Ming, Pacific, SunUp, Tern and TungKeng, leaders in the international market of bicycles. The products of these companies have made history, inspiring cartoons ( Lupin III uses one of these bikes) and receiving prestigious awards in the field of design: some models are exhibited permanently from the 90s at the Museum Of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum of London.

In honor of  Giro d’Italia, Taiwan Excellence launched an application for smartphones INNO - BIKER (available for iPhone and Android). This "App" for cyclists helps track the bike trip, record time, distance, calorie consumption and speed, take pictures and uploads them online. 
The application also takes into account the safety of the cyclist: provides basic information for bicycle repair step by step and sends the GPS position in case of emergency.
